My brother Shawn is visiting me for a month so we’ve been doing lots of exploring. We don’t have any family in California so we decided to forego the turkey dinner and opt for a hike. We had a Friendsgiving feast last weekend and our bellies needed a little TLC after that meal so we decided to do a 10 mile hike in the Marin Headlands.
This is the second time I’ve been here to hike and I swear it was even more beautiful this time – it amazes me. We got lost and ended up taking the wrong trail which forced us to take the stairs… We stared at them for a good five minutes before we started moving – this wasn’t what we had planned. We decided to suck it up, put on “Eye Of The Tiger,” channel our inner Rocky Balboa and climb. Our bums and calves were feeling it for the next two days but it was so worth the view!
