I’m slowly getting our place together – between travel and my indecisiveness, it’s nearly impossible to finalize the design process. One thing I knew for sure when I started decorating I needed a bar cart that was simple, chic and had a few built-in bottle holders. I saw this one
on Wayfair and instantly fell in love. It’s the perfect size (although I would have loved some of the larger ones, we just don’t have enough space). If I had more space I would have loved to get this round one, which is currently on sale.
Since the bar cart is such a staple when you walk into the apartment, I wanted to make sure it gets refreshed and styled for the seasons while still feeling very clean. I love the pink, golds, and greens together and am so happy with how it turned out.
Sharing 5 tips for styling your bar cart:
- Save room for flowers. Think about styling with ingredients that will eventually make it into your drink – lemons, cinnamon, etc., small vases with florals, or even snacks like a bowl of nuts.
- Style for the season. During the summer this bar cart looked a lot different, but for fall I spruced it up with some pumpkins.
- Less is more. I don’t have every bottle we own on the bar cart, just the ones that I think look the best.
- Varying heights. Incorporate bottles, books, and glasses that are different heights to add some texture and definition.
- Have fun with it!
We’re talking all things bar cart, so I thought I’d share a few recipes I’ve been eyeing from Pinterest.
