If you’re planning a bachelorette party in Palm Springs, you’re in the right place.
This past weekend we celebrated my best friend’s bachelorette party in Palm Springs. Eight of Britt’s closest friends from Kansas to Nashville to Chicago came together on the West coast to celebrate her! While we had such an amazing time, there were months of planning that needed to happen in order to ensure all ran smoothly on bach weekend. I’m sharing my top tips for throwing an amazing bachelorette party for your bride to be.

7 tips for throwing an epic bachelorette party
Pick a theme
Everyone loves a great theme! We went back and forth on this for a long time. We spent hours on Pinterest and ultimately decided on a pink theme (inspo pics below). We got pink glasses, plates, signs, cocktail napkins and more.
Lock down an amazing house
Whether you choose to have your Palm Springs bachelorette at a hotel or a house, there are plenty of options to choose from. Ultimately, this depends on your group size, travel style, and planned activities.
If you’re looking for a hotel, there are so many amazing places to stay.
- ARRIVE Palm Springs
- The Palm Springs Hotel
- The Saguaro Palm Springs
- The Paloma Resort
- The Weekend Palm Springs
If you’re looking for an Airbnb/house, here are some great options I found that weren’t available for our dates!
- We chose to stay in a Lakefront home right outside of Palm Springs in Indio
- Regal luxe home with pool and incredible amenities (sleeps 8)
- Mid-Century home with a pool/spa (sleeps 12)
- San Jacinto Cottage walkable to downtown Palm Springs (sleeps 8)
- Mid-Century home with cabana, salt water pool, outdoor kitchen (sleeps 6)
- Ultra Chic luxury home with pool, fire pit, spa (sleeps 6)
Nail down the finances
This is HUGE. I was in charge of finances and it was helpful to have everyone pre-pay me and I just put everything on one credit card. Pre-paying for dinner reservations, groceries, activities, Uber, etc was such a game changer. Anything that was outstanding was tied up at the end, making the entire process seamless for all of our ladies.
Create the itinerary
I’m a huge planer, so I loved creating some structure for our crew. While we were only 8 people, this becomes much more important the larger the group. You want to avoid those ‘hangry’ moments or constant ‘what are we doing next?’ questions. I created structure in the group by gathering everyone’s flight times for arrival and departure and making sure those that arrived together could coordinate their ride to the house. I also let everyone know what to expect, what to pack, and laid out the plan for the entire weekend on night 1.
Throw in some goodies
Our bride wanted a simple, classic party and opted out of the ‘Same Penis Forever’ signs and straws, etc. We wanted her party to be super tasteful. We played crazy-Jenga, how well do you know the bride, and had a pajama fashion show where the bride could show us all her gifts and guess which one of us bought them for her. If you’re traveling and don’t have room in your suitcase to bring all of these games, Joymode Rentals is great resource. The only other thing I wish we had during our pool days were Manservants. 😉 It’s also super important to leave your crew with a parting gift, we chose to do custom hats for everyone because it’s something they’ll be able to use again.
Have fun
This is probably the most important, yet cheesy tip I could give you, but it’s so important to remember. At the end of the day, you’re there to celebrate your girl and her soon to be marriage. While there may be some hiccups, have fun with it and surely nobody else will even notice. As long as you have the basics above covered, you’ll be good to go!
