CJ and I like to keep things pretty casual on Valentine’s Day, but we both love a fun excuse to dress up and go to dinner at one of our favorite restaurants (sometimes end the night with drinks at a fun bar with some live music!). Some of our favorite date night spots are Epic Steakhouse on Embarcadero, Lolinda in Mission, Rich Table in Hayes, Marlowe, The Perennial and Villon in Soma. There are so many great restaurants in San Francisco, I could go on and on…
We like getting each other gifts that are thoughtful and practical. Below are some of the items we’ve recently gotten for each other and some items that are still on our list. However, Valentine’s Day isn’t just about your significant other. I love celebrating all my Galentines and getting them a cute gift to let them know how much I love and appreciate them. Voluspa or Diptyque candles, a cute lipstick, or some pretty nail polish are always at the top of my list. My current fav? The Dior Lip Glows – they come in so many colors and are SO hydrating.

My favorite holiday because it always means jewelry!
Me too!! I love simple, staple pieces! Thanks for dropping by! 🙂
Your photos are beautiful! Love this post, I need to get creative this. I LOVE Valentine’s Day!
You’re so sweet! I LOVE love, so Valentine’s Day is extra fun! 🙂 Thanks for reading!
Love all the photos! I agree that a French press is a great gift idea for guys- just bought my husband one for Christmas. We usually keep things low key, but last year snuck away to the beach for a few nights. The ocean is my favorite gift any day!
That sounds so amazing, Jess! I always love those kind of trips. Glad you two got to enjoy the ocean for a few nights, such a lovely gift! <3
Thanks for sharing! I love your photos with you and your Valentine. It’s so fun to dress up and go out on a date. My favorite gift ideas for her are the tea kettle (love that color!) and the earrings.
Thanks Sarina! I LOVE tea and the kettle is just too cute not to get! 🙂 Hope you have a lovely Valentine’s Day!
You guys are so cute! Love the red shoes. Can’t wait to visit SF and eat at Epic steakhouse!
